Fifteen CCC Student-Athletes Earn 2022 AVCA All-Region Honors

LEXINGTON, KY – The AVCA announced the women's volleyball All-Region teams for NAIA women's volleyball, as chosen by the NAIA Selection Committee, with 15 student-athletes from the Cascade Collegiate Conference receiving honors. Five of the seven top awards also came from the CCC.
 
Each of the 10 regions named 14 student-athletes to the All-Region team, and eight players earned honorable mention honors. Each region also selected seven “of the year” award winners.
 
Corban University highlighted the Northwest Region, taking four of the seven top honors. Corban’s Rylee Troutman was named the Northwest Player and Attacker of the Year, while Makayla Roginski earned Northwest Freshman of the Year. The Warriors’ Dick McLain was selected as the Northwest Assistant Coach of the Year. Eastern Oregon University’s Kaki Mclean Morehead being named the Northwest Coach of the Year.
 
Northwest University’s Abi Broussard, EOU’s Preslee Jensen and Cambree Scott, Corban’s Avari Ridgway and Troutman, The Evergreen State College’s Lily Stewart, Lewis-Clark State College’s Grecia Ung-Enriques and Southern Oregon University’s Hailey Van Well all earned All-Northwest Region honors. SOU’s Sadie Byrd, EOU’s Kara Clayton, Bushnell University’s Makenna Northern, Oregon Tech’s Nicole Reyes and TESC’s Zoe Shaw picked up Honorable Mention.
