CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 2022 Cascade Collegiate Conference softball season continued Saturday.  Teams compete in a four-game series, with only the first three counting toward the conference record.
 
Conference Standings
 
No. 2 College of Idaho swept Warner Pacific
Game 1: C of I won 9-1 – Tanner Higgins went 2-for-2 with one run scored and four RBIs for the Coyotes. Paityn Willoughby went 2-for-2 at the plate for the Knights, who saw Sammie Brauckmiller score the lone run.
Game 2: C of I won 7-4 – Hannah Mikel went 3-for-4 at the plate for the Coyotes, with two runs and one RBI. Willoughby scored two runs for the Knights and had a 3-for-4 showing offensively.

No. 5 Southern Oregon University swept UBC
Game 1: SOU won 8-0 – Cayla Williams went 3-for-4 with three RBIs for the Raiders, who also saw Piper Love finish 3-for-4 with one run and two RBIs. Nicole Salas finished 2-for-3 at the plate for the T-birds.
Game 2: SOU won 11-3 – Sammie Pemberton went 3-for-3 to lead the Raiders, while Ashton Cathey went 2-for-3 with two runs and four RBIs. Gabrielle Dorval led the Thunderbirds with a 2-for-2 showing at the plate, adding two runs and driving in another.

No. 1 Oregon Tech swept Northwest University
Game 1: OIT won 11-3 – Mckenna Armantrout went 3-for-3 with two runs and two RBIs for the Owls, while Sarah Abramson picked up her eighth win with seven strikeouts. Jordan Dippel went 2-for-3 with one run for the Eagles.
Game 2: OIT won 8-2 – Jayce Seavert led the Owls with a 2-for-3 performance, while Mckenzie Staub went 2-for-4 and threw four innings in the circle with two strikeouts for her sixth win. Nicola Fish finished 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI for the Eagles.

Bushnell University swept University of Providence
Game 1: Bushnell won 7-1 – Anabel Mendez went 3-for-4 for the Beacons, scoring one run and batting in two others. Sam Hernandez scored the lone run for the Argos.
Game 2: Bushnell won 14-2 – Anabel Mendez was a perfect 3-for-3 in the nightcap with a staggering six RBIs and three runs scored. Taylor Mathews went 2-for-3 at the plate for the Argos with one run scored.

Corban University swept Carroll College
Game 1: Corban won 4-2 – Reagan Davis had three RBIs for the Warriors with a three-run homer in the fourth. Kirsten Norris went 2-for-4 for the Saints, while Abby Hanley threw six strikeouts in the defeat.
Game 2: Corban won 6-1 – Taylor Beasley (3-for-4) and Kaycee Arase (2-for-4) each knocked homers for the Warriors, who saw Holly Gonzales toss nine strikeouts for the win. Ellie Koerber scored the lone run for the Saints as multiple Carroll players had one-hit performances.
