CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 2022 Cascade Collegiate Conference softball season continued Friday with inclement weather looming. Teams compete in a four-game series, with only the first three counting toward the conference record.

Northwest University won the series over Corban University
Game 1: NU won 7-5 – Madisyn Leffle went 3-for-4 with two runs for the Eagles.
Game 2: Corban won 5-2 – Anastasia Iosia had a double and a home run, finishing 2-for-3 with one run and four RBIs for the Warriors.
Game 3: NU won 7-6 (9 innings) – Alyssa Maldonado had the game-winning RBI single, sending Kayla Stanley into score in the bottom of the ninth for the Eagles.

Carroll College swept Warner Pacific University
Game 1: Carroll won 6-0 – Abby Hanley tossed eight strikeouts for the shutout victory.
Game 2: Carroll won 8-7 (8 innings) – Kaitlynn Ayers went 3-for-4 with two runs scored for the Saints.

No. 1 Oregon Tech swept No. 3 College of Idaho
Game 1: OIT won 3-0 – Sarah Abramson struck out 11 batters in the shutout.
Game 2: OIT won 7-6 – Abramson became the Oregon Tech softball all-time wins leader with her second win of the day.
