Three CCC Student-Athletes Earn NAIA Women’s Basketball All-American Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2021-22 Women's Basketball All-America Teams Friday morning.
 
Three student-athletes represented the Cascade Collegiate Conference on the list. Lewis-Clark State College’s Callie Stevens was named to the third team, while Eastern Oregon University’s Sailor Liefke and Southern Oregon University’s Kami Walk garnered honorable mention distinction.
 
Stevens, a sophomore guard from Puyallup, Wash., had an outstanding first full season on the court, leading the CCC in scoring (18.3 points per game), total points (568) and three-pointers made (91). The CCC WVT Laboratory Player of the Year three-point total is tied for the second-best in a single season in program history, while her point total is eighth-best, and her scoring average ranks ninth.
 
Liefke, a junior guard from Sunnyside, Wash., led the Mounties in scoring with 16.1 points per game (second in the CCC) and shot 42.5-percent from the floor. She finished sixth in the CCC in assists at 3.4 per game.
 
Walk, a sophomore forward from Eugene, Ore., led the Raiders to a CCC Women’s Basketball Tournament Championship, presented by U.S. Bank, and the second-highest win total in program history. She finished the year averaging 15.7 points, 8.4 rebounds and 1.0 blocked shots per game.
