CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 2022 Cascade Collegiate Conference softball season continued Friday with four matchups. Teams compete in a four-game series, with only the first three counting toward the conference record.
 
Conference Standings
 
No. 1 Oregon Tech swept Warner Pacific University
Game 1: OIT won 14-0 (5 innings) – The Owls posted 15 hits, while Sarah Abramson held the Knights to just two hits, striking out five batters.
Game 2: OIT won 9-0 – The Owls stayed hot in the nightcap with 11 hits, but the Knights only allowed one run per inning until the final inning.

Eastern Oregon University swept Bushnell University
Game 1: EOU won 9-4 – Kayla Berg led the Mounties with a 2-for-3 performance at the plate, scoring three runs and knocking in two more.  
Game 2: EOU won 12-6 – Shelby Starr went 3-for-4 with two runs and an RBI for EOU.

UBC swept University of Providence
Game 1: UBC won 2-0 – Shelby Kempel tossed nine strikeouts in the circle for the Thunderbirds, allowing just one hit.
Game 2: UBC won 9-0 (5 innings) – Shae Sever threw 11 strikeouts in just five innings in the circle, while K Kim scored two runs for the ‘Birds.

Northwest University swept Carroll College
Game 1: NU won 8-3 – Both teams had seven hits but the Eagles capitalized more, led by Jordan Dippel, who batted 2-for-3 and scored two runs with two RBIs.
Game 2: NU won 8-6 – The Saints posted more hits in the nightcap, led by Kristen Norris’ 4-for-4 performance with two runs and an RBI, but Emily Barry scored three of the Eagles’ eight runs to help her team grab the sweep.
