CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 2022 Cascade Collegiate Conference softball season continued Friday. Teams compete in a four-game series, with only the first three counting toward the conference record.

Game 1: WPU won 10-9 – A walkoff infield RBI single from Alexis Morrow in the eighth inning gave the Knights the victory in the opener.
Game 2: Halted in the top of the sixth with UP holding a 9-7 lead.

No. 10 Southern Oregon University at No. 7 College of Idaho
Game 1: SOU won 7-6 – Lindsey Stripling’s RBI grounder proved to be the difference maker as the Raiders took the first game by one run.
Game 2: SOU won 14-5 – The Raiders came alive in the nightcap as Cayla Williams led SOU with a 3-for-4 (one run, two RBIs) performance at the plate.

Game 1: Northwest won 4-2 – Jordan Dippel went 2-for-4 with one run at the plate for the Eagles.
Game 2: Bushnell won 6-2 – Suzi Krstic finished the game with two runs and batting 2-for-3 to help the Beacons to victory.

No. 3 Oregon Tech at (RV) Eastern Oregon University
Game 1: EOU won 4-3 – Both Caitilin Crist and Grace Gaither had two hits to help the Mounties grab the upset win.
Game 2: EOU won 3-2 – Crist and Gaither were the difference makers once again as Gaither scored the tying run in the bottom of the seventh and Crist drove in the game-winning run.
