2022 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship Qualifiers Announced

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – (Championship Information) The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the team and individual qualifiers for the 2022 NAIA Women’s Golf National Championships. Hosted by Oklahoma City University at Lincoln Park West Golf Course, the 27th annual event will be played from May 24-27.

No. 3-ranked UBC will be the lone Cascade Collegiate Conference team making the trek to Oklahoma City after securing the conference’s automatic qualifier. Oregon Tech’s Payton Canon earned an individual bid, making her third appearance at the national championship.

First and second round pairings and tee times for the championships can be found HERE.

The 156-player field consists of 19 automatic qualifying teams, which won their respective conference tournament and 11 at-large team berths. At-large teams were determined using the final regular-season Coaches’ Top 25 Poll released yesterday. To access the poll, click HERE.

Six individual qualifiers will complete the field and battle it out with the players from the other 30 teams for the solo crown. These golfers earned their way into the tournament by winning their respective conference championships and not being a member of the conference champion team, earning All-Tournament Team honoree from the previous year’s national championships that did not qualify otherwise, or be selected as an at-large candidate by the NAIA Women’s Golf Executive Committee.
