She fanned 10 in a 1-0 victory in Game 1 and added a three-hitter in an 8-0 win in Game 3. They were her ninth and 10th shutouts of the year as she moved past 200 strikeouts in a season for the third time in her career.

Corban University’s Zack Simon was named the WVT Laboratory Baseball Pitcher of the Week for the second time this year.

Simon, a junior right-handed pitcher from Las Vegas, had a solid outing against Eastern Oregon University. In 7.2 innings, he broke the Warrior record with 14 strikeouts and scattered eight hits, allowing just two earned runs.

No. 5-ranked Lewis-Clark State College’s Riley Way was named the WVT Laboratory Baseball Player of the Week for the second time this year.

Way, a senior infielder from Lewiston, Idaho, was nearly unstoppable at the plate for the Warriors over the weekend. The Lewiston native was a perfect 4-for-4 on Saturday, then went 3-for-4 and 1-for-2 in Sunday's doubleheader to hit .800 on the weekend. Way slugged a home run and two doubles for a 1.300 slugging percentage and .833 on-base percentage. He did not strike out in his 12 plate appearances, knocked in four runs and scored six times.

Bushnell University’s Andrew Webb was named the WVT Laboratory Men’s Golfer of the Week.

Webb, a senior from Surprise, Ariz., secured CCC Championship Individual Medalist honors, winning a hole-by-hole playoff over UBC's Russell Howlett on the third hole. It was a big comeback win for Webb, who struggled in the second round on Monday and had fallen into a fifth-place tie after sharing the first-round lead. He also struggled early on in Tuesday's third round, bogeying three consecutive holes to sit at two-over after six holes. He rallied to claim birdies on five of his next seven holes and ended the day at two-under. Webb was the only golfer to have two sub-par rounds in the tournament and he qualified to compete in the NAIA National Championship after winning his first career medal in four seasons.
