KANSAS CITY, Mo. – (
Championship Information) The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has officially announced the team and individual qualifiers for the 2022 NAIA Men’s Golf National Championships. The 70th annual event will take place at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill., May 17-20.
UBC will be the lone team representing the Cascade Collegiate Conference, while two other student-athletes will compete as individuals: Bushnell University’s Andrew Webb – who won the CCC individual title – and Kristof Panke.
The 156-player field consists of 20 automatic qualifying teams, which won their respective conference/independent tournament or were ranked in the final Top 25 for the conference’s second automatic berth one host berth to St. Ambrose and seven at-large team berths. At-large teams were determined using the final regular-season Coaches’ Top 25 Poll released yesterday. To access the poll,

From an individual standpoint, there were 11 individual qualifiers to this years' title fight. To receive an individual automatic berth, the conference medalist must be from a team who did not win the conference team title or be an All-Tournament Team honoree from the previous year’s national championships that did not qualify otherwise. To earn an at-large individual berth, the selection is determined by the NAIA Men’s Golf Executive Committee.
