CALDWELL, Idaho - The University of British Columbia women's golf team shot a 36-hole total of 574 to secure the College of Idaho Invitational Team by 50 strokes over NCAA Division II Northwest Nazarene University and the other Cascade Collegiate Conference teams.
The Thunderbirds were led by a one-two finish of Sonja Tang and Grace Bell, who shot a 142 (69-73, -2) and 143 (70-73, -1), respectively. For UBC, Elizabeth Labbe, Jessica NG and Bo Brown were also in the top six overall.
The rest of the CCC saw Lewis-Clark State finish third (625 - 325-300); Oregon Tech was fourth (636 - 331-305) and Walla Walla was fifth (727 - 361-366). Corban, Southern Oregon and College of Idaho did not field entire teams.
