CCC Women’s Soccer Action Kicks Off Today

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 2022 Cascade Collegiate Conference women’s soccer season officially begins Friday.

Ten teams kick off the season, playing five games to get the season rolling as 13 teams will battle for the regular-season championship and the CCC’s first automatic qualifier (AQ) to the NAIA National Tournament. The second AQ will be awarded to whoever wins the CCC Women’s Soccer Tournament, presented by U.S. Bank., starting Nov. 7.

After sweeping both the regular CCC title and the CCC Women’s Soccer Tournament Championship, Oregon Tech was picked to repeat but has had a little shaky start to the season.

Three teams enter the conference season receiving votes on the latest NAIA Coaches’ Poll. Eastern Oregon University leads the trio with a No. 22 ranking, while the College of Idaho and Northwest University are earning votes.
