College of Idaho Men's Cross Country Wins Mike Johnson Invitational

MONMOUTH, Ore. - The College of Idaho men's cross country team won the Mike Johnson Invitational hosted by Western Oregon University on Friday.

The Yotes were paced five finishers in the top 10 to secure the team title. This marks the 13th-consecutive year that College of Idaho has won a team title, including the last four Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships. 

College of Idaho was led by the runner-up finish of Elias Everist, who covered the 8k course at the Ash Creek Preserve in 24:39.4. Teammate Braden Heath was five seconds back of Everist in fourth, running the 8k course in 24:44.7. Also foAr College of Idaho, Daniel Butler was fifth (24:56.2), Hayden Bostrom was seventh (25:06.6) and Brevin Vaughan was 10th (25:22.6).
