La Grande, Ore. – The Quarterfinals and Semifinals of the 2023 Cascade Collegiate Conference Volleyball Championship Tournament, presented by U.S. Bank, took place tonight. The final top two seeded teams are left to play for the title tomorrow.

Quarterfinals:
No. 3 seed Southern Oregon University def. No. 6 seed Bushnell University, 3-1
No. 12-ranked Southern Oregon defeated Bushnell 3-1 (25-15, 15-25, 25-18, 25-19). Megan Perry had 17 kills on 26 attempts without an error, and she assisted three of SOU's 11 blocks. Halle Neumann recorded 11 kills to end the Beacons season. The Raiders advanced to face the Warriors.

No. 4 seed College of Idaho def. No. 5 seed Northwest University, 3-1
College of Idaho bested Northwest 3-1 (26-24, 20-25, 25-22, 25-21). The Yotes were led by CCC Co-Setter of the Year Analise Hitchcock with 27 assists. CCC Libero of the year, Kelsey Moore ended the Eagles season with a game high 18 digs. C of I advanced to face the number one seed Eastern Oregon.

Semifinals:
No. 2 seed Corban University def. Southern Oregon University, 3-1
Corban defeated Southern Oregon (23-25, 25-23, 26-24, 25-19) after falling to them last week. Marissa Uehara made 17 digs and Makayla Roginski collected 15 kills. Neither were a game high but the teams .231 attack percentage was enough to secure the victory over SOU and advanced to the championship game.

No. 1 seed Eastern Oregon University def. No. 4 seed College of Idaho, 3-2
Eastern Oregon barely pulled off a 3-2 (19-25, 15-25, 25-21, 25-22, 5-8) victory over College of Idaho. It was a back and forth dual as neither team was ready to give up. Madison Morgan led the Mounties offensively with 14 kills. Jade Warren recording an impressive 15 kills with a stellar .407 kill percentage for the Yotes. Eastern Oregon advanced to the championship game.

Like last year, No. 3-ranked Eastern Oregon University will take on No. 7-ranked Corban University in the CCC Volleyball Tournament Championship game on Saturday at 3 p.m. at Quinn Coliseum. Both teams have secured the CCC's automatic qualifiers to the NAIA Tournament.
