CORVALLIS, Ore. – The seeds for the 2023 Cascade Collegiate Conference Women’s Soccer Championship Tournament, presented by U.S. Bank, were finalized Thursday.
No. 15-ranked College of Idaho claimed the CCC regular season championship title after an outstanding undefeated conference campaign. With one loss on the season, the Yotes will enter the tournament on a 15-game win streak.
Carroll College landed in second with a 11-1-4 overall record, suffering its only loss of the season to C of I.
Eastern Oregon University, Corban University, and Northwest University all ended with equal points. As a result, EOU took third, Corban landed in the fourth seed, then Northwest in fifth per CCC tiebreaker guidelines involving head-to-head outcomes.
Oregon Tech placed as the sixth seed. Southern Oregon University secured the seventh seed with tonight’s victory over Bushnell University, who rounded out the tournament in the eighth spot.
The CCC tournament takes place Nov. 6-10, hosted by Bushnell University. The quarterfinals and semifinals will play out at Willamalane Park in Springfield, Ore., while the championship game will kick off at Civic Park in Eugene, Ore. Whichever team wins the tournament will earn the CCC’s second AQ to the national tournament. If C of I advances to the final, their opponent will earn the AQ.
