KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2023 Daktronics NAIA Women's Volleyball Scholar-Athletes.
The Cascade Collegiate Conference saw 52 total honorees. Northwest University led the way with 10 student-athletes. Bushnell University and Corban University followed with eight total. Eastern Oregon University had seven recipients. College of Idaho, Lewis-Clark State College, Oregon Tech, and Southern Oregon University all received four. Multnomah University rounded out the CCC honorees with three total.
The 2023 list features 1,200 student-athletes who achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
