CCC Men’s Soccer Quarterfinals Scoreboard 11.6.23

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Quaterfinals of the CCC Men’s Soccer Championship Tournament, presented by U.S. Bank, kicked off on Monday. Now, four teams remain standing.

No. 1 seed Southern Oregon University def. No. 8 seed Corban University 5-0
No.22-ranked Southern Oregon opened the postseason by pocketing its 10th consecutive win, 5-0 over the Warriors amid heavy rain and wind at Les Schwab Sports Park. Adrian Villegas, Alan Gaytan, Evan Norconk, Mustafa Daggig, and Tybalt Thornberry all scored for the Raiders. SOU outshot Corban 28-7. The Raiders (17-2 overall) advanced for the sixth consecutive season to the semifinals, which they'll play at 4 p.m. Wednesday against Oregon Tech.

No. 2 seed Warner Pacific University def. No. 7 seed University of Providence, 4-1
Warner Pacific begins the tournament with a large 4-1 win over Providence. Chanin Orlandin, Bryce McCole, Hunter Leach, and Mateo Rusca all scored for the Knights. Kolby Hayes made the Argos lone goal. WPU outshot UP by a total of 15-10. The Knights (13-3-2 overall) advance to the semifinals, which they’ll play at 4 p.m. Wednesday against College of Idaho.

No. 3 seed College of Idaho def. No. 6 seed The Evergreen State College, 2-0
College of Idaho started the tournament with a 2-0 shutout victory over Evergreen. Hugo Guevara and Jorge Fernandez scored for the Yotes. C of I outshout TESC by a total of 19-5. College of Idaho (11-3-3 overall) advances to the semifinals, which they’ll play at 4 p.m. Wednesday against Warner Pacific.

No. 5 seed Oregon Tech def. No. 4 seed Carroll College, 3-1
Oregon Tech earned the first upset of the tournament with a 3-1 overtime victory. Ismael Navarro made the first goal of the game for the Fighting Saints. Yuki Enomoto, Andrew Pasang, and Rosendo Juarez-Flores all scored for OIT. The Owls (11-4-3 overall) advance to the semifinals, which they’ll play at 4 p.m. Wednesday against Southern Oregon.
