CALDWELL, Idaho - College of Idaho sophomore Eden Makaafi picked up another post-season honor as she was named Third Team All-American by the NAIA. Earlier this year, she was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-West Region.
Makaafi made an impact in 2023 as she helped lead College of Idaho with a team-best and Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) 13 goals and 31 points, as well as leading the CCC in both categories. She had a hat trick against Multnomah on October 27 and had a two-goal effort against Evergreen on September 15 and October 6.
The Boise native was also named the CCC RIZE Laboratory Offensive Player as College of Idaho hosted the NAIA Second Round for the first time in program history. The Yotes took home the regular season and tournament titles in the CCC. She is just the seventh NAIA All-American in program history.
