RENO, Nev. – The RV Corban University Men's Wrestling team sent ten student-athletes to the 2023 Reno Tournament of Champions this weekend, one of the biggest and most high profile tournaments for collegiate men's wrestling in the entire nation, leaving with multiple weight class victories, and performing well despite being shorthanded due to mid-season injuries.

Junior Tyson Stover was the highlight of the day for Warrior Nation, winning three-straight 174-weight class bouts before bowing out in the consolation quarterfinals with 12-2 major decision over Wayland Baptist University's Ethan Frank and a 7-3 decision against Will Harmon of Western Wyoming Community College.
Other weight class matchup winners include sophomore Bo Davis who managed a 16-0 technical fall in the 141-weight class, alongside freshman Isaiah Twait who pinned his 184-weight class opponent in just over four minutes.
Corban men's wrestling will take the Christmas break to prepare for their next bout on January 6th at 7:30pm, as they'll welcome Cascade Collegiate Conference associate member Simpson University to the C.E. Jeffers Sports Center for a head-to-head dual matchup.
