CORVALLIS, Ore. – CCC weekend basketball is in full swing.

Bushnell University def. Multnomah, 99-77
Bushnell defeated Multnomah with a final score of 99-77. Bushnell reached over 50 percent in all three shooting categories while grabbing 41 rebounds. Four Beacons reached double figure points and Cory Johnson led the game with an incredible 29 point night. Over half of the Lions points came from the bench (44) and Marje Windfield paced the team with 21 points.

Southern Oregon University def. Eastern Oregon University, 61-57
Southern Oregon defeated Eastern Oregon with a final score of 61-57. In its second straight dominate CCC win, SOU pulled through in the final seconds after 12 lead changes throughout the game. Neither team reached above a 40 shooting percentage. The Raiders got 13 points and five rebounds from Teron Bradford and Khalil Chatman scored a lead-flipping layup with 28 seconds left to help secure the victory. Mounties were paced by a game high 17 points from Jonny Hillman.

No. 2 College of Idaho def. (RV) Oregon Tech, 78-75
College of Idaho bested Oregon Tech in a tight 78-75 back and forth CCC Game of the Week. Despite scoring more in the second half and ending with a higher shooting percentage (45.5), the Owls fell to the Yotes power after nine lead changes. C of I worked together and had four players reach double figures, being led by a career high 27 points from Samaje Morgan who also made all 12 of his free throws. Jamison Guerra paced the Owls with 19 points and three rebounds.

Corban University def. Warner Pacific University, 73-61
Corban edged out Warner Pacific by a final score of 73-61. Corban was behind by three after the first half before coming out blazing in the second. CRB recorded a 46.4 shooting percentage and made 15 of its 20 free throws. 40 of Corban’s points came from the bench and 30 from in the paint. The Warriors were led by Aundree Polk’s 14 points and eight rebounds. Matt Solomon paced the Knights with a game high 16 points.
