After a weather delay, COI kept rolling and grabbed an 87-71 victory over Corban University in the semifinals to secure their spot in the championship game. Drew Wyman led the Coyotes with 15 points. This will be College of Idaho’s fifth-straight CCC Tournament title game and they currently hold the nation's longest college basketball win streak record at 29.

This will be EOUs first championship appearance since 2011. The Mountaineers were seeded second with a 16-6 conference record. Eastern Oregon opened the tournament with an existing 82-76 overtime victory over Oregon Tech. Phillip Malatare paced the Mountaineer's offense with an impressive 26 points.

In the semifinals, Eastern Oregon eliminated Southern Oregon, 78-68, to advance to the championship game. The Mountaineers forced 19 turnovers and were led by Preston Chandler with 17 points.

Monday's game will be the sixth time the teams have matched up in the CCC tournament. College of Idaho’s lone tournament loss to EOU was in 2007.

With an undefeated regular season, the Coyotes picked up the series sweep with a 70-58 victory at EOU back in December and a 74-56 win at the beginning of the month in Caldwell, Idaho.
