KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2022-23 Daktronics NAIA Men's Wrestling Scholar-Athletes with over 200 student-athletes recognized from 58 schools nationwide.
The Cascade Collegiate Conference saw a total of 24 student-athletes earn the honor. Eastern Oregon University, Menlo College, and Vanguard University all led the conference with five representatives each. Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Montana State University-Northern followed with three Scholar-Athletes a piece. Arizona Christian University, Corban University, and Southern Oregon University round out the CCC with one wrestler each.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
