CORVALLIS, Ore. – CCC softball season continues to battle weather

No. 13 College of Idaho and No. 7 Oregon Tech split
Game 1: C of I won 6-4. The Coyotes erased a four-run deficit with three home runs. Haley Loffer went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run for College of Idaho. Hannah McNerney struck out four batters in her win while Annie Polster came in as relief for the save. Puakea Milbourne went 2-for-3 to lead the Owls.
Game 2: OIT won 2-0 in a nine-inning battle. Zoe Allen and Kaila Mack got back-to-back bunt singles, leading to the only runs of the game. Kacie Schmidt pitched a nine-inning shutout. Madelyn Powell paced the Coyotes with two hits.

Carroll College swept Warner Pacific University
Game 1: Carroll won 11-1 and racked in 15 hits. Kenna Thomas had a perfect game at the plate and scored three runs. Abby Hanley pitched a complete game in the circle, racking up 10 strikeouts. Marin Bliss and Carrigan Foster led the Knights going 2-for-2.
Game 2: Carroll won 9-0 in five innings. The Fighting Saints got twelve hit and were led by. Kati Slater and Haley Kampka who both had perfect games at the plate. Kennedy Venner recorded 11 strikeouts in the five-inning shutout. Emma Foster and Sammie Brauckmil got the only hits for the Knights.

Northwest University defeated Corban University
Game 1: NU won 4-3 and racked up 10 hits. by being able to get their runs across. Olivia Brown led the Eagles, going 3-for-4 with a run and an RBI. Natalie Dimitrov got the win on the mound with eight strikeouts. Jody Fischer got the Warrior's sole hit.
Game 2: Will resume tomorrow, after getting suspended in the 6th inning due to weather.
