CORVALLIS, Ore. – CCC saw a full slate of Friday softball sweeps.
 
Conference Standings
 
Bushnell University swept Warner Pacific University
Game 1: Bushnell won 2-0. Sam Silver was all-around dominant for the Beacons with a perfect game at the plate and a shutout on the mound. Sammie Brauckmiller got two of the Knight's three hits.
Game 2: Bushnell won 5-3. Left fielder Madison Steelman whacked the go-ahead two-run double in the top of the seventh inning to secure the win. Sam Silver kept cruising on the mound for another win. Ashley Hawkins led the Knights with two hits and two runs.

No. 5 Southern Oregon University swept Carroll College
Game 1: SOU won 10-3. Cayla Williams showed up on both sides for the Raiders, getting four hits and three RBI while also claiming the win on the mound. Amber Countryman led the Saints going 2-for-3 with an RBI.
Game 2: SOU won 5-4. Second baseman Deja Acosta led the Argos going 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI. Katie Machado got the win in the circle. Countryman stayed hot for the Saints, getting two more hits and RBIs.

No. 8 College of Idaho swept University of British Columbia
Game 1: C of I won 8-1. Second baseman Kaylee MacDannald led the Coyotes going 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBIs. Katelyn Wilfert recorded eight strikeouts and only allowed one run in the win on the mound. Keona Nordquist got half of the T-Birds hits.
Game 2: C of I won 8-1. Kaily Christensen led the Coyotes with two hits and two RBIs. Hannah McNerney only allowed one run for the win in the circle. Olivia Malesku got a hit and scored the T-bird's sole run.

No. 25 Eastern Oregon University swept Northwest University
Game 1: EOU won 11-0 in five innings. Mountaineers First baseman Haley Ebner's grand slam in the fourth led to a nine-run inning, forcing the mercy rule. Kaylie Hoskins had another impressive game on the mound, striking out 12 batters in her one-hit shutout. Paige Creasey got the Eagle’s sole hit.
Game 2: EOU won 2-0. Third baseman Gates Leatherwood went 2-for-3 with an RBI to lead the Mountaineers. Hoskins kept the heat in the circle, picking up another 11 strikeouts in her second shutout of the day to become EOUs single-season strikeout leader. Kayla Stanley got the Eagle’s sole hit.
