CORVALLIS, Ore. – The first and last team in the CCC split on day two of their series.

No. 1 Oregon Tech and University of Providence split
Game 1: OIT won 11-2 in six innings. Maggie Buckholz, Nita Cook, Puakea Milbourne, and Addison Kachnik all had multi-hit games for the Owls. Kacie Schmidt only allowed one earned run and two hits while throwing the complete game. Azia-Rain Umphrey got a home run to lead the Argos.
Game 4 (nonconference): Providence won 9-5 for a major upset to break the Owls’ 25-game win streak. Taylor Mathews, Ryen Palmer, and Karlie David each recorded three hits to lead the Argos. Deven Creech threw the complete game for the win in the circle. Mckenzie Staub had OIT's lone multi-hit game, going 2-for-4 at the plate.
