In the second inning, Eastern’s Kelly Monaghan went yard for the first run of the game, followed in the next inning with an Addison Ribordy double which led to the second EOU run. The game finally concluded in the bottom of the eight from a walk-off home run by Hannah Tyree. #2 seed Southern Oregon University eliminated #5 seed University of British Columbia
Game 6: No. 4-ranked SOU won 8-5 in a back-and-forth battle. It was tied at two a piece in the middle of the 3rd inning before the rain showers halted the game for about an hour. The Raiders answered back after the break with two more runs and added another in the 5th inning to go ahead 5-3. In the top of the 6th inning, the T-Birds got hope with two more runs to tie it back up. However Southern was not done yet, with the help of four hits and three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning that went unanswered, SOU was able to secure a path to the final game of the day against EOU. UBC ended their season with a strong battle. Cayla Williams and Sammie Pemberton were both perfect at the plate for the Raiders.

#3 seed College of Idaho def. #1 seed Oregon Tech
Game 7: C of I won 5-2. Player of the Year Haley Loffer did her job as a lead-off to begin the game with a single and gain momentum for the Yotes. Madelyn Powell also homered and the top of the first concluded with a four-run lead. No.1-ranked OIT’s only two runs came in the 5th inning with the help of a few Yotes errors. The Owls played dominant all game and even out-hit C of I, but they were unable to string them together and left a total of 11 runners on base. Powell hit another homer in the 4th to conclude the scoring for the Yotes. On the mound for College of Idaho, Katelyn Wilfert, and Hannah McNerney did not let up an earned run. C of I punched their ticket as the first team in the 2023 CCC Softball Championship. Oregon Tech will face the winner of the last game of the day, EOU vs. SOU.
