CORVALLIS, Ore.– Fifteen Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) championships, presented by U.S. Bank, will be contested during the 2023-24 athletic year, the conference office announced today.
“From our first championship in November all the way through our last in May we look forward to great competition among the over 3000 student-athletes representing our 12 full and 10 associate members,” stated Commissioner Robert Cashell.
The 2022-23 season brought six National Championships to the league and four runner-up places. Teams earning NAIA Red Banners included; College of Idaho-Men’s Basketball, Southern Oregon University- Women’s Wrestling and Softball, British Columbia- Men’s and Women’s Golf and Women’s Track/Field. Claiming the runner-up trophies were; Corban University-Women’s Volleyball, Oregon Tech- Softball, British Columbia-Men’s Track/Field, and Lewis-Clark State College-Baseball.
In addition to the conference championships, the CCC will host the NAIA Men’s and Women’s Cross-Country National Championships on November 17, 2023, at Historic Fort Vancouver in Vancouver, Washington.
