KANSAS CITY, Mo. – No. 3 College of Idaho’s Ellyse Tingelstad was named the NAIA Women’s Cross Country Runner of the week, announced Wednesday by the national office.
On Friday, Tingelstad led the Yotes to first place victory at the CCC Preview Meet in Caldwell, Idaho. The senior from Joseph Ore., completed the 4K with a time of 13:53.5 for a first-place finish. She competed against 50 other runners and averaged a pace of 5:35.3 per mile.
Their next race takes place on September 30th, in Salem, Oregon. C of I will host the CCC Championships on November 3rd while the CCC will host the NAIA Championships on November 17th.
