Cascade Connects: Golf Preview

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The first Men’s and Women’s Golf CCC event of the 2023-24 season tees off Monday, Sept. 11, as OIT hosts the Oregon Tech Fall Classic at Running Y Resort in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
 
The two-day event starts Monday morning and is one of three conference tournaments leading up to the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championship, presented by U.S. Bank, April 29 – May 1. For the Men, the first day consists of a 36-hole round, followed by 18 rounds on Tuesday. For the Women, The first day consists of an 18-hole round, followed by another 18 rounds the next day.
 
University of British Columbia (No. 2, No. 1) and Lewis-Clark State College (No. 20, No. 25) both rank in the 2023-24 Men’s and Women’s NAIA Golf Preseason Coaches’ Top 25 Polls, respectively. This invite will be the first official competition of the season for all teams.
 
In a tournament, five players compose the team but only the top four scores are used for the team score in each round. Results will be available on the CCC Website.
