LA GRANDE, Ore. - Eastern Oregon men's wrestling put on a dominant display Thursday evening, securing a 39-0 shutout victory over Big Bend. The Mounties also celebrated Senior Night by honoring the outstanding wrestlers who have dedicated their time and effort to the men's and women's teams. The men's wrestling team recognized seniors Hunter Sparks, Zach Mauras, Jay Smith, and Tyler Miler. The women's wrestling team also paid respect to their seniors Nayeli Flores Roque, Brook Cicierski, and Nayeli Maston, acknowledging the seniors' contributions to the program.
On the mat, Hunter Sparks, Zach Mauras, Cole Cross, AJ Rockwell, Michael Fox, and Jay Smith all won via technical fall, while Darrian Hoobery closed the night with a decisive pin.
