CORVALLIS, Ore. – Several tight battles resulted from Friday's CCC Women's Basketball games.

No. 7 Lewis-Clark State College def. No. 20 Southern Oregon University, 68-42
Lewis-Clark State defeated Southern Oregon by a final score of 68-42. LC State tallied 26 points off turnovers, 43 rebounds, and 13 steals. Callie Stevens had an incredible 25-point night for the Warriors while adding three assists, a steal, and a rebound. Neither team surpassed a 40-field goal percentage. The Raiders were paced by Kami Walk’s 18 points and eight rebounds.

Multnomah def. The Evergreen State College, 76-69
Multnomah bested Evergreen with a final score of 76-69. Multnomah recorded 16 points off second chances and saw its largest lead of 12 in the fourth quarter. Neither team surpassed a 40-field goal percentage. Five Lions reached double-figures and were led by Kaela Stonebarger’s 16 points and six rebounds. The Geoducks took 12 steals and 21 points off turnovers while being paced by Jenna Glenzel’s 17 points.

College of Idaho def. Corban University, 75-67
College of Idaho managed a 75-67 victory over Corban. C of I grabbed 36 rebounds, 12 steals, and saw its largest lead of 15 points in the second quarter. The Yotes were led by Brooke Beresford who recorded 24 points and five rebounds. Despite holding a higher shooting percentage (42.9), Corban was unable to hold onto the lead. The Warriors were paced by Maddie Godwin’s 17 points and five rebounds.

(RV) Oregon Tech def. Walla Walla University, 71-64
Oregon Tech edged out Walla Walla by a final score of 71-64 to move its win streak to 14. OIT reached a 48.2 field goal percentage and collected 48 points in the paint. The Owls were led by Olivia Sprague's 22 points and defensively, Tatum Schmerbach added 14 rebounds. The Wolves outscored the Owls in two quarters and were paced by a game-high 25 points from Jaliyah Casem.

Eastern Oregon University def. Bushnell University, 87-75
Eastern Oregon outscored Bushnell by a final of 87-75. EOU surpassed 50 percent in all three shooting categories while adding 38 rebounds. Four Mounties reached double-figures and were led by Brie Holecek’s 23 points. The Beacons forced 13 steals and were paced by Libby Mathis’s double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds.

Northwest University def. Warner Pacific University, 78-77
Northwest defeated Warner Pacific in a tight 78-77 battle. Northwest recorded a 51.6 field goal percentage and added 35 rebounds. The Eagles were led by Maya DuChesne’s 23 points. The Knights earned 38 points in the paint, 12 steals, and were paced by Teirra Hicks’s game-high 25 points.
