KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kiauna Mack of No. 4-ranked Eastern Oregon University has been named the NAIA Volleyball Defender of the Week. She was selected based on her performances from October 14 – 20 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.
Mack, a junior middle hitter from Puyallup, Wash., totaled 18 block assists (2.25 b/s), 15 kills, and three digs on the weekend. Her efforts helped the Mounties to two big wins over No. 9-ranked Corban University (3-0) and (RV) Bushnell University (3-2).
Next up, the Mounties are set to face The Evergreen State College and Northwest University this weekend.
