CCC Men’s Soccer Tournament – Quarterfinals Scoreboard 11.10.24

MEDFORD, Ore.  The Quarterfinals of the CCC Men’s Soccer Championship Tournament, presented by U.S. Bank, kicked off on Sunday at Lithia & Driveway Fields. Currently four teams remain standing.

No. 1 seed Carroll College def. No. 8 seed Multnomah, 4-0
The top-seeded, regular season champions of Carroll College continued strong into postseason, leading to a 4-0 shutout over Multnomah. CC outshot Nomah 19-5. The CCC offensive player of the Year, Felix Billard, recorded a hat trick to lead the Fighting Saints to victory. Carroll College (13-2-3) advanced to play in Tuesday's 4 p.m. semifinal round. The Lions wrapped up its season at 7-8-3.

No. 7 seed Oregon Tech def. No. 2 seed Southern Oregon University, 2-1 (OT)
Oregon Tech put on a spectacular performance, upsetting Southern Oregon 2-1 in overtime. SOU outshot OIT 19-10. Ryan Solis kept the Owls alive with five saves and Kevin Rodriguez scored in the first six minutes for OIT, assisted by Arthur Proost. Evan Norconk tied it up for the Raiders, assisted by Sky Charley-Bolyard in the 60th minute. Cannon Spooner assisted Wolfgang Alvarado in the game winning goal in the 95th minute to secure the Owls victory. Oregon Tech (9-7-3) advanced to play in Tuesday's 4 p.m. semifinal round. Southern Oregon wrapped up its season at 12-5-2.

No. 3 seed Warner Pacific University def. No. 6 seed Rocky Mountain College 2-0
Warner Pacific showed out against Rocky, winning 2-0. Chanin Orlandin scored on a set piece in the 13th minute and WPU tacked on an own goal in the 69th to secure the victory. The Knights (13-5-1) advanced to play Eastern Oregon at 7 p.m. on Tuesday in the semifinals. The Battlin’ Bears wrapped up its season at 8-7-2.

No. 4 seed Eastern Oregon University def. No. 5 seed College of Idaho, 2-1
Eastern Oregon eliminated College of Idaho in a tight 2-1 battle that came down to the final minutes. After a scoreless first half, Jorge Fernandez finally put C of I on the board in the 59th minute. Jahrie Gray tied it up for EOU in the 81st minute. With two minutes to spare, Cristian Trujillo sunk the game winning goal to take the victory. The Mounties  (9-3-4) advances to face off against Warner Pacific at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. The Yotes completed its conference campaign at 9-4-4.
