CCC Men’s Soccer Tournament – Semifinals Scoreboard 11.12.24

MEDFORD, Ore.  The Semifinals of the CCC Men’s Soccer Championship Tournament, presented by U.S. Bank, took place on Wednesday at Wheeler Field.

No. 1 seed Carroll College def. No. 7 seed Oregon Tech, 2-1
Carroll College eliminated Oregon Tech with a final score of 2-1. OIT outshot CC 19-12 but the CCC Goalkeeper of the Year, Juan Muniz Navarette, completed three saves to help secure the win. Michal Mojzis scored in the 33rd minute while teammate Matt Wigton tacked on another goal in the 80th minute to help lead to the victory. Dalton Rideout scored Oregon Tech’s lone goal. Carroll (14-2-3) will play in the CCC Tournament Championship game. The Owls wrapped up its season at 9-8-3.

No. 4 seed Eastern Oregon University def. No. 3 seed Warner Pacific University, 2-1 (OT)
Eastern Oregon outlasted Warner Pacific with a 2-1 overtime victory. EOU outshot WPU 17-10. Abner Hernandez scored for the Mounties in the first half, assisted by Daniel Kropf. Antonio Cipriano tied it up for the Knights in the second half, assisted by Chanin Orlandin. Edgar Romero Perez lined up a shot 20 yards up the left sideline in the 100th minute to secure the game winning goal. Eastern Oregon (10-3-4) advanced to play in the CCC Tournament Championship game. Warner Pacific completed its campaign with a 13-6-1 record.

2 p.m. - #4 seed Eastern Oregon vs. #1 seed Carroll College

The Fighting Saints and Mounties will compete on Thursday at 2 p.m. for the 2024 CCC Men's Soccer Tournament Champion Title at Wheeler Field. Both teams have secured the CCC’s two automatic berths to the NAIA Championship Tournament.
