CORVALLIS, Ore. – Round one of the 2024 Cascade Collegiate Conference Volleyball Championship Tournament, presented by U.S. Bank, led the Yotes and Owls to advance to the final site.

No. 5 seed College of Idaho def. No. 8 seed Walla Walla University, 3-0
College of Idaho started the tournament off strong with a 3-0 (25-15, 25-14, 25-19) sweep of Walla Walla. The Yotes were led all around by Haley McUne’s with seven digs, six kills, and three service aces. C of I held WWU to a negative attack percentage. The Wolves were paced by a game-high 10 kills from Natalia Jimenez in its final game of the season, completing its campaign with a 9-16 overall record. College of Idaho (19-12) now advances to the final site in La Grande, Ore., to take on No. 4 seed Bushnell University at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.

No. 7 seed Oregon Tech def. No. 6 seed Lewis-Clark State College, 3-1
Oregon Tech upset Lewis-Clark State 3-1 (22-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-21). The Owls were led by Kaley Whalen with 28 digs who crushed the program's single season dig mark. Molly Grace added 20 kills and four service aces for the Owls. The Warriors were paced by a game high 25 kills from Juliauna Forgach Aguilar to complete its season with a 15-13 overall record. Oregon Tech (19-12) advances to the final site in La Grande, Ore., to face No. 3 seed Corban University at 12:30 p.m. on Friday
