CCC Volleyball Tournament Scoreboard 11.15.24

La Grande, Ore. – The Quarterfinals and Semifinals of the 2024 Cascade Collegiate Conference Volleyball Championship Tournament, presented by U.S. Bank, took place tonight. The final two teams are left to play for the tournament title tomorrow.

Quarterfinals:
No. 5 seed College of Idaho def. No. 4 seed Bushnell University, 3-0
No. 22-ranked College of Idaho defeated (RV) Bushnell 3-0 (25-12, 25-20, 25-21). C of I reached an attack percentage of .298 while holding the Beacons to .073. Mia Hutchinson recorded 10 kills to lead the Yotes while Savannah Hutchins added 19 assists and Abby Draghici tallied seven blocks. Bella Parque paced Bushnell with a game high 12 digs as the Beacons completed its season at 19-12. The Yotes advanced to face top seeded Eastern Oregon in the semifinal matchup.

No. 3 seed Southern Oregon University def. No. 7 seed Oregon Tech, 3-1
No. 7-ranked Southern Oregon bested Oregon Tech 3-1 (25-23, 26-24, 20-25, 26-24). The Raiders were led by CCC Player of the Year, Megan Perry, with a game high 17 kills and Kayla Neidigh added 18 digs. Paige Tevelde paced OIT with a game high 53 assists as the Owls finished the season with a 19-13 record. SOU advanced to go up against the number two seed, Corban, in the final semifinal game of the day.

Semifinals:
No. 2 seed Eastern Oregon University def. No. 5 seed College of Idaho, 3-1
Eastern Oregon swept College of Idaho 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-21). Keira Vaughn led the Mounties with 10 kills and an impressive .563 hitting percentage. As a team, EOU recorded a .296 hitting percentage. Shelbey Nichol paced the Yotes with eight digs and three blocks. C of I completed the conference post season with a 20-13 overall record. EOU advanced to the championship game.

No. 3 seed Southern Oregon University def. No. 2 seed Corban University, 3-0
Southern Oregon shutout Corban 3-0 (25-19, 25-17, 25-17). SOU managed a .322 attack percentage while holding Corban to .065. Hannah Stadstad led the Raiders with 12 kills while Annie Hite added 17 assists. Marissa Uehara paced the Warriors with seven digs, three service aces, and two assists. Corban completed its conference post season with a 23-5 overall record. Southern Oregon advanced to the championship game.

No. 6-ranked Eastern Oregon University will take on No. 7-ranked Southern Oregon in the CCC Volleyball Tournament Championship game on Saturday at 3 p.m. at Quinn Coliseum. Both teams have secured the CCC's automatic qualifiers to the NAIA Tournament.
