LEWISTON, Idaho – Eastern Oregon delivered a commanding performance on Saturday, defeating the No. 9-ranked Carroll College 58-46 at the P1FCU Activity Center.

The Mountaineers set the tone in the first quarter with strong defense and balanced scoring, building a 15-8 lead. The second quarter saw both teams struggle offensively, but Eastern Oregon maintained a 26-19 advantage heading into halftime. In the third quarter, EOU's defense took over, holding Carroll to just four points and extending their lead to 39-23. Despite a late surge from the Saints, who scored 23 points in the final period, the Mountaineers remained composed and secured the win with timely free throws and solid play down the stretch.

Brie Holecek contributed a double-double with 10 points and a game-high 10 rebounds, while Raquel Fehringer and Maggie Smith provided key scoring off the bench, tallying 10 and 6 points, respectively.

For the Saints, Kyndall Keller and Addi Ekstrom each scored 12 points, with Keller adding six rebounds. Isabelle Erickson led all players with 12 rebounds but was limited to just two points.
