College of Idaho Men’s Cross Country Claims 2024 Red Banner

COLUMBIA, Mo. – [Final Results] It was the Men's turn this year as the College of Idaho Yotes Cross Country team won the 2024 NAIA Championship for the first time in program history.

College of Idaho finished with 87 points, topping the runner up of Milligan University by 9 points. Eastern Oregon University finished in 11th place as a team with 347 points followed by Lewis-Clark State College in 13th with 425 points.

Daniel Butler paved the way for C of I in the 8k with a 6th place finish in a time of 23:54.1. In addition to Butler, Hayden Bostrom (24:08.1) finished in 11th, Elias Everist (24:14.3), finished 13th, and Brevin Vaughan (24:31.4) in 26th to earn All-American status. Oclan Ryan (24:47.1) was the final scoring runner for College of Idaho in the all-around team effort.

Other Cascade Collegiate Conference competitors who reached NAIA All-American status include Jack Gladfelter (23:59.9) of Corban University in 8th, Justin Ash (24.00.0) of EOU in 9th, and Carter Gordon (24:33.1) of LC State in 28th.
