CORVALLIS, Ore. – The seeds for the 2024 Cascade Collegiate Conference Men’s Soccer Championship Tournament, presented by U.S. Bank, were finalized Sunday. For the first time in program history, (RV) Carroll College claimed the CCC regular season championship title after a terrific conference campaign. With one conference loss all season, the Fighting Saints (11-1-1 CCC record) will enter the tournament on a five game win streak.
No. 25-ranked Southern Oregon University landed in second with a 9-2-2 regular season record and 29 points.
Warner Pacific University (8-4-1 CCC record) and Eastern Oregon University (7-2-4 CCC record) both earned 25 points but WPU won the tiebreaker to claim the third seed based on their head to head match up.
College of Idaho finished the CCC season with a 7-3-3 record and 24 points to receive the fifth seed. Rocky Mountain College was right behind with 23 points and a 7-4-2 conference record.
Oregon Tech (8-4-1 CCC record) and Multnomah (7-2-4 CCC record) each earned 18 points but OIT won the tiebreaker to claim the seventh seed based on their head to head match up.
The CCC tournament takes place Nov. 10-14, hosted at a new location in Medford, Ore., at Lithia & Driveway Fields. The tournament winner will earn the CCC’s second AQ to the NAIA Tournament. If Carroll advances to the final, their opponent will earn the AQ.
