2024 CCC Cross Country Championships Preview

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships, presented by U.S. Bank, sets off tomorrow at Rose City Golf Course in Portland, Oregon.

The men’s 8k starts at 10 a.m., followed by the women’s 6k at 11 a.m. All Championship information, including live results, programs, and pictures can be found on the CCC Championship Page.

On the men’s side, College of Idaho currently ranks at the top of the latest NAIA Top 25 Rating. C of I swept the CCC preview meet and Yote Daniel Butler earned two NAIA Runner of the Week awards. Lewis-Clark State College is ranked at No. 11 followed by the reigning CCC Champions of Eastern Oregon University at No. 13. Mountie Just Ash claimed the final NAIA Runner of the Week honor of the season. Corban University also received votes in the most recent NAIA poll, and the final rankings of the 2024 season will be released next Tuesday, November 12. Bushnell University, The Evergreen State College, Multnomah, Northwest University, Oregon Tech, Southern Oregon University, and Walla Walla University are also set to compete in the championship.

On the women’s side, the reigning CCC and National Champions of College of Idaho hold the No. 6 rank in the latest NAIA Top 25 Rating. C of I swept the CCC preview meet and Yote Kahea Figueira has swept three CCC Runner of the Week awards. Southern Oregon University earned the No. 10 rank and Raider Fiona Fraser was named the final NAIA Runner of the Week. Lewis-Clark State College landed in the No. 18 spot while Eastern Oregon University received votes. The final poll of the 2024 season will be released next Tuesday, November 12. Bushnell University, Corban University, The Evergreen State College, Multnomah, Northwest University, Oregon Tech, and Walla Walla University are also set to compete in the championship.

Each Championship winner will earn the CCC’s AQ to the 2024 NAIA Cross Country Championships.
