SALEM, Ore. – Every student-athlete dressed to participate in tonight's matchup for the Corban University Men's Basketball team scored points in the program's routing of Portland Bible College, as 14 Warriors saw walked on to Tim Hills Court and each converted on at least one field goal attempt in the team's 106-40 win over the Arrows.

"It was good to get a win on our home floor!" explained Warriors' head coach Taylor Kelly earlier this evening. "We have been working really hard in practice to fix some issues and make necessary improvements, and it was good to see our guys compete together in a winning outcome."

It was all Warriors (2-4) from the opening tip of their 66-point victory over Portland Bible (0-6), as Coach Kelly cleared his bench and only saw two student-athletes play more than 20 minutes in the complete team effort. Corban men's basketball would lead by as many as 68 points and opened up the scoring via a 59-23 halftime score, eventually scoring the first 16 points of the second half to all but put the Arrows out of striking distance.

The Navy and Gold all-around effort was led by junior guard Andrew Classen, who scored his Warrior career-high in points with 14 today in his first career start for Corban men's basketball by converting 6-of-9 field goal attempts. A trio of guards off the bench consisting of junior Payton Meyers (12), senior Drayton Caoile (11), and junior Spivey Word (10) all scored in double-figures today, while senior forwards Jared Franklin and Devean Hinton each hauled in a game-high nine rebounds. The Warriors outpaced the Arrows in every single statistical category, including a 48-16 advantage in rebounds and 48-22 in points scored inside the paint.

Portland Bible saw a 17-point effort by guard Rashad Hickson thanks to a 7-for-11 effort from the free throw line, while the remainder of the Arrows' starting lineup combined for the outstanding 23 points scored by the team. Guard Corey Bays dished out four assists, while guards Trevor Vermillion and Sam Winston each brought down four boards.

Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) play begins this upcoming Friday for the Corban men's basketball program, as they'll play host to Warner Pacific University (4-1, 0-1) at 7:30pm on Tim Hills Court.
