LA GRANDE, Ore. – Eastern Oregon's men's basketball secured a 91-77 victory over Florida College on Monday evening. The Mountaineers delivered a well-rounded performance, combining efficient shooting and aggressive defense to dominate the matchup.
Eastern Oregon set the tone early, outscoring the Falcons 46-35 in the first half, capitalizing on a strong offensive start led by TJ Doman, who scored 17 of his game-high 25 points in the first period. The Mounties maintained their momentum in the second half, extending their largest lead to 18 points at the 16:36 mark.
EOU generated a perfect 15-for-15 from the free-throw line. Additionally, the Mounties capitalized on turnovers, generating 28 points off the Falcons' turnovers.
Eastern Oregon's 42 points in the paint and 18 fast-break points highlighted their offensive aggression and transition play. The second half opened with a quick burst from Eastern Oregon, turning a modest 11-point halftime lead into an 18-point cushion with contributions from Garrett Hawkes and Malachi Afework.

- EOU: TJ Doman's 10-for-14 shooting effort, which included three three-pointers; Garrett Hawkes, who tallied 15 points, seven assists, and three steals; and Jaden Hansen, who was a perfect 6-for-6 from the free-throw line, finishing with 12 points and six rebounds, James Bodily chipped in 13 points off the bench, including three three-pointers.
- Florida College: Chase Hettinger scored 21 points, and Malik Beauford added 20 points and nine rebounds.
Eastern Oregon will jump back into CCC play this weekend as they travel to Lewiston, Idaho, to face the Lewis-Clark State Warriors on December 20 at 7 p.m.
