CCC Players of the Week Announced

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The following four Cascade Collegiate Conference student-athletes have been recognized as the CCC Players of the Week for their performances during competition from November 25 – December 1, 2024. 

Men’s Basketball – Defensive
No. 4-ranked College of Idaho’s Tyler Robinett was named the CCC Men’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week.

Robinett, a graduate student from Middleton, Idaho, helped lead the Yotes to a 76-44 win over NCAA Division ll Northwest Nazarene University. He recoded six rebounds, five blocks, and 11 points in 27 minutes total minutes played.

Men’s Basketball – Offensive
No. 21-ranked Lewis-Clark State College’s MaCarhy Morris was named the CCC Men’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week.

Morris, a sophomore guard from Long Beach, Calif., had a strong game in the Warriors first conference win with a 94-59 defeat over Walla Walla University. He shot 47.1 percent from the field with 20 points, eight rebounds, and three steals in 24 total minutes played.

Women’s Basketball – Defensive
No. 14-ranked Lewis-Clark State College’s Darian Herring was named the CCC Women’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Herring, a sophomore forward from Deer Park, Wash., had a stellar game in Warriors first conference win with a 71-48 defeat over Walla Walla University. She recorded seven blocks, five rebounds, and a steal on top of 18 points and five assists in 29 total minutes played.

Women’s Basketball – Offensive
Multnomah’s Gracie Browning was named the CCC Women’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week.

Browning, a senior forward from Bountiful, UT, led the Lions to a 73-51 victory in their first conference win over Warner Pacific University. She recorded a 60 field goal percentage with 16 total points. She also added 10 rebounds, two steals, and a block in 34 total minutes played.
