CORVALLIS, Ore. – In the latest episode of the CCC Podcast:
Cascade Connects, Commissioner Rob Cashell talks with Lewis-Clark State College student-athlete, Ashlee Bachman.
Bachman is a Lewiston, Idaho, native who stayed close to attend Lewis-Clark State College as a part of the Warrior Volleyball program. She has held a natural leadership ability from a young age and her responsibilities only expanded as she advanced in her collegiate career. Aside from her time in the classroom and on the court, Bachman is the Association of Student-Athletes (ASA) President for Lewis-Clark State, the CCC ASA Chair, and the NAIA ASA Vice Chair.
After suffering an injury this year, she found different ways to be a team leader. Her constant dedication and positive attitude helps guide the various communities she’s a part of. This spring she will complete her undegraded degrees and already has plans to continue her graduate education in the medical field. Her fearless leadership is evident and has helped grow LC State, the Cascade Conference, and the NAIA as a whole.
Listen to Bachman’s full story, how she earned her tremendous success, why her passion lies with helping others, and what she plans to do with her bright future.
