CORVALLIS, Ore. – The seeds for the 2023-24 Cascade Collegiate Conference Women’s Basketball Championship Tournament, presented by U.S. Bank, were finalized Saturday night.
The No. 22-ranked Southern Oregon University women’s basketball team claimed the CCC regular season championship title today. With a 20-2 conference record, the Raiders were named the number one seed in the postseason tournament for the 6th time.
No. 25-ranked Oregon Tech was named the 2nd seed via tiebreaker criteria against No. 6-ranked Lewis-Clark State College. This was done by comparing records against conference teams in ascending order, both teams ended with a 19-3 CCC record and split its regular season matchups.
Eastern Oregon University (16-6 CCC) claimed the 4th seed followed by Bushnell University (12-10 CCC) in 5th. College of Idaho (10-12 CCC) secured the 6th seed and The Evergreen State College (9-13 CCC) landed in 7th while Corban University (7-15 CCC) was seeded 8th to round out the tournament.
