CORVALLIS, Ore. – The eight seeds of the 2023-24 Cascade Collegiate Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament, presented by U.S. Bank, were announced Saturday and the quarterfinal action tips off Wednesday.

The CCC tournament takes place on Feb. 28, March 2, and 5, with the quarterfinal round taking place at the top-four seeds’ home courts. The highest remaining seeds will host the lower seeds with a trip to the NAIA National Tournament on the line.
 
#1 College of Idaho vs. #8 Northwest University
College of Idaho won the regular-season title with a 21-1 conference record to pick up the first seed in the tournament. The Yotes are boasting a 21-game winning streak and host eighth-seeded Northwest, who survived with a 7-15 CCC mark. C of I swept the regular-season series between the teams, who have only lost to NU in 2016.
 
#2 Lewis-Clark State College Oregon Tech vs. #7 Eastern Oregon University
Lewis-Clark State earned the second seed after completing a 19-3 CCC record. LC State will host Eastern Oregon, which picked up the seven seed with a 11-11 conference mark. The Warriors took two victories over the Mounties, reaching an impressive 59.3 field goal percentage in its last matchup. 
 
#3 Oregon Tech vs. #6 Bushnell University
Third seed Oregon Tech will host sixth seed Bushnell in the quarterfinals. OIT went 18-4 in CCC play while Bushnell competed the conference season with a 12-10 record. The Owls swept the Beacons and both teams shot over 50 percent from the field in the two matchups.
 
#4 Southern Oregon University vs. #5 Corban University
Southern Oregon clinched the fourth seed via tiebreaker criteria against Corban who landed in the fifth seed. Both teams finished conference with a 14-8 record and split its regular season games. This month, the Warriors recorded its largest margin victory over the Raiders with a final score of 80-61.

Whichever team wins the conference championship will earn the CCC's second Automatic Qualifier to the National Tournament. If C of I wins the tournament, the two seed LC State will earn the second AQ. The 86th Annual Men’s Basketball National Championship is set for March 21-26, at the Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri, with first rounds beginning March 15, at campus sites.
