KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Megan Dennis and Emma Bischoff of Corban University have been named the NAIA Women’s Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from March 11 - 17 and were chosen from a pool of nominees from across the country.
The junior and freshmen duo remained perfect in conference play and picked up a massive 3-2 match win over (RV) Southern Oregon University (17-21, 21-16, 15-12), handing the Raiders their first loss of the season. They also defeated the top pairs from Northwest University (21-15, 21-16) and Bushnell University (21-11, 21-14) to complete a perfect 3-0 record, leading the Warriors to an undefeated week. The pair currently holds a 6-1 season standing.
Next up, the Warriors are headed to Eugene, Ore., on Thursday to face NCAA Dl University of Oregon.
