CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 2024 CCC softball regular season is in full swing. 
 
Conference Standings
 
College of Idaho swept Carroll College
Game 1: C of I won 1-0. Hattie Hruza accounted for two of the Yotes' five hits and scored the lone RBI. Annie Polster got the win in the circle, not allowing a run in five innings pitched. Brookelynn Jackson recorded half of the Saints hits, going 2-for-3 at the plate.
Game 2 (5 innings): C of I 9-0. Again, the Yotes shutout the Saints but added more insurance runs, forcing the mercy rule. Lena Zahniser went 2-for-3 and added three RBIs and a run to lead C of I. On the mound, Grace Neer got the shutout, only allowing a hit while striking out three batters. Jackson got the lone hit for the Saints.

University of British Columbia swept Bushnell University
Game 1: UBC won 2-0. It was an all around team effort at the plate with seven different T-Birds recording a hit. Kaitlyn Kim opened the scoring early on with a homerun in the first inning. In the circle, Carleen Murray threw a complete game shutout, only allowing four hits and striking out five batters. Violet Richardson recorded a double for the Beacons.
Game 2: UBC won 3-0. Madison MacGillivray went 2-for-3 and added a run to lead the T-Birds. Murray threw another complete game shutout on the mound. Richardson went 3-for-2 to lead the Beacons yet again.

Southern Oregon University swept Warner Pacific University
Game 1 (5 innings): SOU won 11-2 with 17 hits to force the run rule. Jordan Henderson went 3-for-4 at the plate with three runs and two RBIs to lead the Raiders. In the circle, Katie Machado pitched a complete five innings, only allowing one hit and striking out 13 batters. Briana Munoz got the lone hit for the Knights. 
Game 2 (5 innings): SOU won 12-2 with a 10 run second inning. Faith Moultrie had a perfect game at the plate to lead the Raiders with two hits, two runs, and two RBIs. On the mound, Mayze Menefee got the win, striking out two batters in three innings pitched. Munoz paced the Knights again with a hit, a run, and an RBI.

Eastern Oregon University def. Oregon Tech
Game 1 (8 innings): EOU won 2-1. A scoreless back and forth battle until the 8th inning led to an exciting game. Gates Leatherwood stepped up for her team right when the Mounties needed her most, with a walk off two run homer in her pinch hitting debut. In the circle, Kaylie Hoskins threw seven scoreless innings against OIT, striking out nine Owls. Oregon Tech was errorless and outhit (8-4) the Mounties but could not manage more runs. Lexi Klum went 2-for-4 at the plate, recording the Owls lone RBI. 
Game 2: Got postponed until tomorrow due to weather.
