CALDWELL, Idaho – The College of Idaho welcomed fellow Cascade Collegiate Conference teams – Bushnell, Corban, Southern Oregon and Northwest to the new College of Idaho beach volleyball courts for a two-day round-robin tournament that got underway on Saturday. Corban comes to town ranked No. 2, Southern Oregon and College of Idaho are receiving votes in the latest national poll.
On the day, Southern Oregon picked up a pair of 4-1 and 5-0 wins over the host Yotes and Northwest, respectively. Corban outlasted College of Idaho by a 3-2 margin with it being decided at the No. 3 pairs. Another close matchuip was the 3-2 victory by Bushnell over Northwest as the Beacons victory at No. 3 pairs clinched the win.
