KANSAS CITY, Mo. – [SCHEDULE | BRACKET] The eight 2024 NAIA Women’s Beach Volleyball Invitational qualifiers have been announced.
The eight qualifying teams will battle for the red banner in Greeneville, Tenn. The 2024 NAIA Beach Volleyball Invitational is a three-day event. On day one, the competition will open with pool play, and all teams will advance to a single-elimination bracket following pool play. The 2024 invitational is scheduled for April 25-27.
No. 2-ranked Corban University will represent the Cascade Collegiate Conference as the NAIA West Group Tournament Champions. The Warriors will face Webber International (Fla.) in Pool A at 10 a.m. ET next Thursday.
Qualifying teams either received an automatic bid or an at-large bid to advance to the invitational. The four automatic bids were determined by conference/group tournament champions, while the unaffiliated grouping of AMC/Heart/KCAC/Sooner teams had to have a team ranked in the Top 10 for a team from that grouping to earn an automatic qualifier. The final Coaches’ Top 10 Rating (Found HERE) determined the four at-large bids that had not already qualified through their conference or unaffiliated grouping.
Five of the teams that qualified for the 2024 invitational also qualified for both the 2022 and 2023 events, including the previous invitational champions Corban (Ore.) (2022) and Vanguard (Calif.) (2023). Arizona Christian, Ave Maria (Fla.) and Saint Katherine (Calif.) join the championship field for the first time.
