CALDWELL, Idaho – College of Idaho men's basketball junior Drew Wyman was named a College Sports Communicators men's basketball first team Academic All-American on Wednesday for the secnd time. It is the first time in program history that a student-athlete has received multiple All-America honors.
Wyman was instrumental in a run to the national tournament in 2023-24 as the Yotes won their fourth-straight Cascade Collegiate Conference regular season title and reached the Fab Four at the NAIA National Tournament. He earned first-team all-Cascade Conference Collegiate honors in 2023-24 for his third-straight first-team all-conference accolade.
Wyman, who is originally from Great Falls, Montana, was also recently named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team and it is his second All-American honor after being a second team selection in 2022-23. Wyman, like Morgan, played in all 36 games where he averaged 11.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game. Wyman shot 50.2% from the field.
He joins an elite class of former student-athletes at the College of Idaho as Wyman is the 10th student-athlete to receive multiple Academic All-American honors.
